'FALL' IN LOVE WITH THE TREES...



This is the perfect time of year to show off the trees. As mentioned in past posts, we received 7 on lot trees from Ryan Homes and 8-10 city street trees from the township.  Over the past few weeks, RH has been planting all of the trees.

In addition to all of the trees mentioned above, within the next few weeks we plan to have 8 evergreen pine trees (5'-6' tall) planted at the top of the hillside between our property and lot #4.  We will post pictures once it is complete.

We absolutely love our back yard, especially this time of year...




...we can't wait until spring to add the patio and fire pit...
and eventually the swimming pool. 


Also, we updated the "Our Community" page with recent pictures and info.  All 18 lots are sold and all but 1 lot is under construction.  According to our PM, the community should be complete by the end of January.  All of our neighbors have been very friendly.  A lot of kids and newborns.  LOVE IT!!!  We are so happy that we took our time to find the perfect place to call 'HOME'.

PROGRESS and PICTURES (TAKEN 08/20)

We stopped by the house on Saturday to check out the progress.  So much has happened since our last visit.  They were installing the carpet (which we will take/post pictures when they are done).  Until then, the following pictures were taken on (08/20/2011), which reflect a few other things that have been done since our last visit.

Some pictures of the stain on the landings...It is hard to get the stain to match the wood on the stairs and the wood on the landing, but they look great!!!  We can't wait to see the final results.

According to our PM, they power washed the brick today and finished up some minor touch ups.  The cleaning will begin on Monday.  Next time we visit the house should almost be ready for the final walk-thru, which is scheduled for next Thursday, 09/01.  We plan to walk-thru with our home inspector the day prior to the final walk-thru with RH. 

NEW "WAVERLY" BLOGGER and OUR PROGRESS

Hello all...We would like to welcome Enna to the RH e-neighborhood, who is another "Waverly" blogger from VA and just started the process (Our Waverly).

On Saturday and Monday we stopped out to the house to check out the progress, but not much is going on.  They started putting the wire shelving in the closets and were still installing the hardware (lights, facets, towel holders, etc).  They were also prepping the trim for paint.  Our PM indicated that they will install the gourmet island and paint the trim by the end of the week.  Also, they will grade and add top soil within the next few days; and they will pour the concrete for the walkway and sidewalk. 

We are hoping to stop by the house on Thursday (08/18) to see the progress. 

PROGRESS and MORE PICTURES (TAKEN 07/03)

Sorry this post is a little late...with the busy holiday weekend and our niece has been staying with us for a couple of days, we just haven't had the time to blog.  We made another visit to the property on Sunday, 07/03, this time we took some family members with us.  Not much changed since our last visit a few days ago; however, we snapped some random pictures of the progress.

This week...according to the PM, the electric and plumbing will be complete.  Guardian will begin; however, it may be held up since we have to go back on Friday, 07/08 to finalize the layout of the options in the basement.  Also, the roof should be started if not finished by the end of the week.
