PROGRESS and PICTURES (TAKEN 08/20)

We stopped by the house on Saturday to check out the progress.  So much has happened since our last visit.  They were installing the carpet (which we will take/post pictures when they are done).  Until then, the following pictures were taken on (08/20/2011), which reflect a few other things that have been done since our last visit.

Some pictures of the stain on the landings...It is hard to get the stain to match the wood on the stairs and the wood on the landing, but they look great!!!  We can't wait to see the final results.

According to our PM, they power washed the brick today and finished up some minor touch ups.  The cleaning will begin on Monday.  Next time we visit the house should almost be ready for the final walk-thru, which is scheduled for next Thursday, 09/01.  We plan to walk-thru with our home inspector the day prior to the final walk-thru with RH.

Where does the microwave go?

HW said...

@SCJ - When RH informed us that local codes prohibit a microwave above a gas cook top and they wanted to place the microwave over by the refrigerator, we decided to purchase an Advantium in place of a microwave. The GE Profile Advantium 120V 30" Wall Oven, includes 4 Ovens in 1 - Speedcook, True European
Convection, Warming/Proofing, Sensor Microwave

Everything looks fantastic. What color are your vanity cabinets...I forget and too lazy to dig back thru your posts.

@BD - all cabinets are Wyoming Square Cherry Bordeaux Timberlake

Nevermind....I forgot you had the quick reference selection page. I thought you had the Cherry Bordeaux cabinets throughout, but the pictures of the Jack & Jill and Master bathroom vanities thru me off...one looks lighter and one looks darker...obviously the lighting of the photos throws it off, but the kitchen looks as I would have expected...it all looks great...we are soooo excited...we have less then 30 days to go and they just started the tile work today.

Also forgot to give you a high-five...your Advantium 4 ovens in 1 trumps our Trivection oven!!!

@BD - Hopefully, we figure out how to work it before the holidays...or we will be eating pizza.

As for the lighting, yeah, it sucks...Not sure if it is the camera or just bad lighting. It all looks good in person, and that is what really matters.

I agree with you regarding the lighting...I have had a couple of pictures I have had to take 2 or 3 times to get right. I was pretty sure all your cabinets were the Cherry, but with so many blogs to keep track of I thought I had forgotten. You are absolutely right though...what really matters is how they look in person :)
