We took a drive today to show the property to some family members. We were very surprised when we drove up on the lot to see that the builder started the process. We lost several trees, but we get to keep the big Pine tree located on the right-side of the property....we can't wait to decorate it for Christmas. Also, we plan to plant trees after the house is built.
Here are some pics...

I love these! Little girl is soooo cute!!
Our lot is flat. Nothing on it. lol I'll have to take picture and post it if/when we get final approval. It's so....bare. lol
You have fun with your Christmas tree, lol.
That's a great looking lot! I love that your little girl is walking around. Our lot is so muddy that our 14 month old hasn't been able to toddle around yet, but I can't wait!
I definitely do like that pine tree wish I had one on my lot. I know nothing about gardening but a tree in the backyard does sound nice. Our lot is also muddy too muddy to be walked on. Hopefully soon we can.
Wow your lot is big!! Ours is Also way to muddy! Even yesterday on that gorgeous day, the kids couldn't walk around it because of the mud. Unfortunately ours has been like that every time we have gone...either snow or mud :(
We spent the past 3 years looking for a flat big lot (which is hard to find in Western PA because of all of the hills). This lot is .77 acres and is considered a premium lot in the plan. We love that the lot has a conservation are in the far backyard...we will always have trees. Yesterday was the first day we could walk on the lot without putting on our special boots. Our daughter had a blast walking around and getting dirty. We are trying to take her out to the lot/house as much as we can ... hopefully this will make the tranistion a little easier.
